11/30/14 -- The Los Angeles Galaxy is headed to the MLS Cup Finals after beating the Seattle Sounders in the Western Conference Finals.  This will be the 9th Cup for the Galaxy and the last one for their standout Landon Donovan, who is retiring after this season.

The Oakland native averaged 19 points, 6.5 assists and 3 rebounds a game after being picked 6th in thedraft by the Portland Trailblazers. He talked about how Oakland helped shaped him and how student-athletes should prioritize "student" first.
